bounce MIDI to audio in Kontakt 2

hello guys, im kind new to midi recording, i just got Kontakt 2 and im using it inside pt le 6.7 , for some reason i can not get the midi recorded via the kontakt 2 to bouce to the audio track that kontakt 2 is set from, I know this could be simple to people that record midi, all i get is a single line (empty audio ) when i record the midi to the audio. Is it something i have to set from with in kintakt 2 ir is it something within the tracks in PT? thanks for any help.

1) midi track (going to kontakt)
2) aux track (kontakt2 on the insert) set the output of this track to bus 3-4
3) audio track, set the input of this track to bus 3-4 and record arm it

Press record and hit play. Hopefully the sounds from kontakt should get recorded as audio.

im sorry to ask this again but , i just upgraded to 7.3 le and use instrument tracks now, can someone please explain how to go from midi soft synth to audio from instrument tracks, thank you so much!!!

1 Create both an Instrument Track (stereo perferably) and an Audio Track (stereo)
2 Insert Kontakt (or other Instrument) as a plug into the Inst. Track and get that working (i.e. keyboard routed to the right channels etc.)
3 Set the Output Bus of the Instrument Track to something like Bus 15-16.
4 Make the input of the audio track Bus 15-16.

when you play the keyboard, you should see the meters respond on the both the Inst. and Aud tracks.

5 Arm the Audio track to record.

6 Record.
