Default Copy to Send in 6.4

I am trying to copy volume automation from a track to a send with no luck. I have tried the copy and paste commands as well as the "Copy to Send" command with absolutely no luck. I am running at 96k. Is anyone else having this problem or do I just not know what I am doing (again!).

Thanks for your help.

John

Are you selecting tracks before using "Copy to send..."??

Yes. I select the one track that has the send that I want to copy to by highlighting its name. Then I select the volume automation from the track that I want to copy from, press "copy to Send", select the appropriate send, press ok and nothing happens.

It's amazing. Any ideas? Does yours work in 6.4?

Do you have send level automation enabled? Open your automation window and make sure.

Thanks for the note, Chris. I figured this one out. The Copy to Send works for copying information from a track to its own send. I was trying to copy from an aux track volume over to a send level on an audio track. Copy to Send won't do this and neither will normal copy and paste since these are considered different types of automation.

In order to get it to paste, I had to hold down the control key while I pasted.

This one took a bit to find but it worked.
