Default midi help with motif rack

all,

im running pro tools 6.4 on win xp and have the motif rack (http://www.yamahasynth.com/products/motifrack/) and im having trouble with using multiple sounds/channels simultaneously.

basically i wanna be able to have 2 midi tracks routed on separate channels to the motif and pull different tones back for each. to hear the audio, i have a motif output routed to analog 1 of my digi002r. i have midi data on both tracks, yet i only hear the output from the first. the motif is set to multi as opposed to voice, which i thought would fix this.

any ideas?
thanks!
