I checked and the RX-11 Editor Application was not downgraded after running PT 2024.10.2 installer.

I had saved the RX11 11.2.0 installer, so I ran that and afterward, iZRX11SpectralEditorAAXHook was restored to 11.2.0.

So it looks to me, if you want to save yourself some time, rather than reinstalling RX-11 with the installer, you could use Time Machine to just restore iZRX11SpectralEditorAAXHook.aaxplugin located in <macintosh hd>/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/
The optimistic side says that there is only the AAX plugin packages and the main application.

But there are other plists and Application Support files and who know what Pro Tools replaces when it overwrites. (there is a way to check, of course, but it's tedious)

I don't own any other copy of Izotope (except the one that comes with PT Ultimate) - is there a way to get the installer/upgrade from 11.1 to 11.2?

Thanks

Dominic

I've asked this before and didn't get an answer. It would be the fix for the problem this thread identifies.

Has this issue been resolved or is it still a problem?

Yes, as a matter of fact. The installer for 2024.10.2 just showed-up in my Avid Link for the first time yesterday on our computers. That is why I asked. Your smart a— attitude is not appreciated!

Maybe you need to drop the attitude, this thread is full of nothing else except folks providing useful information, and then you come along.

2024.10.2 is the very latest installer, it's the one that had a rough release with folks not getting it deposited in their accounts, which is why folks are asking you if you got it.

I am not the poster with the attitude. I asked a perfectly appropriate question and received a condescending response complete with the rolling eyes emoji! Your response is also inappropriate.

Inappropriate? You still don't get it?

You asked a plainly stupid question and were given a helpful reply, maybe with a little deserved attitude.

Did you bother to read the thread and understand what is going on or even think for a minute..

Have you seen a 2024.10.3 release mentioned anywhere? No? Then how could this be fixed? In an issue raised days ago... how many fixes get released in days from Avid?

Folks are trying to get stuff escalated trying to get attention on things, clearly still in process inside Avid, all obvious from the thread, and you roll up and ask "is it fixed yet".

Please never respond to me in any way again. I don’t want to argue with you here because this is not the appropriate place to do so and because it would not serve any purpose.
