Default PreSonus "FIREPOD 10" Windows 10 / 11

Pretty sure this has been covered already ;
But for the sake of sanity, I'm ripping hair just to get my PreSonus audio-interface working with Pro Tools .

No matter what buffer / sample size in the audio-interface's control panel I just can't get Pro Tools accept the audio-device as playback engine . I can't select any of Pro Tools "integral" buffer-sizes and the ones on the "FIREPOD 10" - side won't help either .

I've tried and disabled the PreSonus in the Windows - sound control panel and set the Windows sound system to the integrated Realtek audio or graphic controller's HDMI - output ... won't help matters .

Now, if anyone here has a solution to this, I'd be glad to find a way through .

/ Z .

Do you have a Windows 10/11 driver for that Presonus? That interface is long discontinued.

This information might help.

You also need a TI chipset in your firewire card.

You might be better off with a new interface with current ASIO drivers.

Good luck.

I would also dump the old beast as Presonus stopped making drivers for it many years ago. As a last ditch effort, you could try using ASIO4ALL with it, but setting it up might take an afternoon, if it even works.
