C|24 w/PT Ultimate HDX

Is anyone here still using C|24 with a modern / current version of PT?

Obviously I understand the product is no longer supported, however I am getting conflicting information with regards the C24 and modern versions of PT. Some are saying it still works natively (even with latest version), others are saying you need to use Neyrinck V-Control Pro to make it work, and others are saying it will work via V-Control Pro but without metering.

I have already purchased the C24 (and dedicated furniture), however not yet installed it (I am upgrading my home studio). I also haven't installed PT to my new(er) Mac yet.

For context I will be using:

Apple Mac Pro 2019
16 core Xeon W-3245
96GB MEM
512GB SSD
1 x HDX

So I guess what I'm trying to establish, is if I can install the latest version of PT or will I have to install an older version to enjoy functionality with the C24?

Unless something has changed very recently -

For now it should work with your Intel Mac. Support was removed from the Apple Silicon native version.

Then, there is neyrinck V-Control Pro software, which might give the old lump a new lease on life

I am using PT Studio 2024.10.1 with a 2018 Mac mini,intel of course, with my C/24 and everything works as it should.
