Sadly, no success yet being reinstated. So frustrating that I can't contact Avid directly about this. If anyone who knows who I can contact at Avid, please PM me.

I have 2 s6 m40’s that are out iof
Coverage. I’m talking to a lot of people who were just dark during them pandemic and took a while to bounce back. I understand that there’s no repair option other than full price repairs but there’s no path for software update either?asking because you used to have to be in contract to get updates.

It is absolutely possible to update the software on S4 S6 with a new support license regardless of age.

You can buy a software support Through your dealer. Ask for this 0541-60109-08 Avid Advantage, S6 M40 Master Module, ExpertPlus Renewal

For hardware support you have two differently priced options. Return to factory repair or advanced replacement.
