8.0.4 002r inputs have no audio

Hi all,

I just updated to 8.0.4 from 8.0.1 on windows XP sp3, the program is running fine except that I can't get audio into the program from the 002r. I can output audio, record empty track etc just not get audio in. I have tried the mic pres, line in and ADATs none seem to work.

I tried swapping in my M-box mini and it will pass audio in fine.

Just wondering if any one had this problem and if they might know a fix for it.

I did a search of the forum but didn't get any results.

check your input I/O settings. when I was using 8.0.3 I had to manually re route some of the inputs because of the way the inputs were mislabeled. when I installed 8.0.4 it was all fixed and I had to rename all my inputs because it changed on me. just make sure the inputs are set correctly

I had a go at routing inputs with no luck, however I did notice that the back ground colour of the patch field on the inputs (which aren't working) are white and the outputs (which are working) are grey does that mean something?

Can someone tell me which driver I should have running for 8.0.4 on XP sp3 for a 002r.

For any who have this same problem.I gave up and rolled back to 8.0.3.

I am having the IDENTICAL issue.

I have been unable to find any solutions and have been searching all day.

Hi Reason,

did you end up having any luck with solving the input issue.

I would be keen to still update to 8.0.4 if there is a know fix as it seems way more stable that 8.0.3 (other than the input thing).

I was having same issue. That was the one thing I didn't test. Had clients waiting while I rolled back
