Default how to remove plug-in favorites?

Question. In the Audiosuite plug in window(s), in the third box from the top (the one that says <factory default>), is a list of stored "favorites" that you can pull up instantly. How can I remove a given preset from this favorites list? The manual says use "command-click", but that doesn't work at all.

Hmmm, I don't see anything called "favorites" but I do see my own saved presets at the bottom of the list. Any or all of those can be deleted by navigating to the Plugin Settings folder(see screen shot for location on a Windows machine in the red outline, I expect the path is very similar on a Mac). On the list in the screen shot, my 2 test presets are at the bottom(and I am about to delete them) Of course, the last part of the file path will be the folder for the particular plugin you are concerned with(I used EQ III for checking this).

You can place some plugins top of the category list by ctrl-clicking the plugin. All you need to do to remove it from the list is repeat the process.

Reading and replying a bit too fast again, Janne. He's talking about plugin presets list, not favourite plugins.
OP: I think you should explore the selector above, 'Presets', where you can recall and save presets, and also set default preset folder etc.

OMG i FOUND it. That drop down takes me to a directory located in:

mac HD
Library
Application support
digidesign
plug in settings
multi-dynamics 5
multi-dynamics 5

and there they all are! All I have to do is delete the .tfx I don't want! Thanks, it took some wrangling, and with your help, I figured this out. Now I can get rid of the distracting list of presets I don't need!

yours

I guess you mean presets you don't need.
I'm glad I could help.

This is another valuable tip! Trashing prefs will clear all of these though While this is for favorite plugins, it doesn't address presets, BUT.... you can have any plugin come up with your favorite preset if you set that as the default. You can also over-write any preset(as opposed to deleting and making new ones from scratch)
