Default 8.01 update...?

Does this update address the selection issue where after you click and relase, sometimes pro tools will read you movemt as a selection?

Its hard to describe. Howver, it was an issue with several othr versions of Pro Tools, and it always seems to get fixed in an update. I havent heard anyone complan about. I just figured it would be fixed soon.

The issue occurs if you select a point in the timeline, un_click, and then move the cursor. Pro tools sometimes treats your cursor move as if you were still holding down a click.
The results are a PITA. Playback stops, loops or any number of un intended actions.
Dig?

I'm getting this with MIDI notes, funnily enough. Very annoying.

Yes i've started to get this about pt8 or maybe one of the cs updates. it seems to hold on to any click-holds for longer than necessary!! and yes this became a problem about 1-2 years ago if i remember correctly.

Starting with 8.0, the tendency for that to happen went from "highly unlikely" to "I can't believe this is happening several times in a row even though I am trying my hardest for it not to happen even once". I'd love to see this fixed.
