Mbox family driver support for Mac OS Catalina

With a Final Sale Date of 3-1-2015 for the mbox 3 pro, i would assume a driver for OS Catalina is provided.
It's not cheap and 5 years later you can't update anymore? That would suck.

I'm trying to preserve an Mbox Pro 3 I have at home. It is supported until March of 2020. I filed a support ticket requesting a Catalina driver. It's true, we may never get one, but if we make enough noise it might convince Avid to dedicate the time.

Did anyone here update to 10.15 and try out their Mbox yet? Any word on if existing drivers carry over and work?

I tried installing the driver on my Catalina laptop. It threw up an error message and wouldn't go.

I haven't tried upgrading a boot drive with that app already installed, but I doubt it would work since it clearly says "32-bit" in Activity Monitor.

The only response to the support ticket was that "Mojave is the last compatible OS". Honestly seems like a crock to me. I'm not that attached to it and it might be old but it is still technically supported. Pro Tools officially supports Catalina in some fashion now and buying a new Mac gets you Catalina. Avid should have been able to get a driver working. Shame on them.

Catalina came out in october of 2019, end of support mbox3 pro in 2020. They must upgrade drivers for catalina macos, otherwise, I will not buy anything from AVID!

3 months from the moment of the official release and almost a year from the moment of Catalina beta present- they sit, do nothing, I go nuts from such companies! fatal failure

I really want them to provide a driver, but let's look at this objectively: they provide support until March of 2020. Which means tech support, repairs, and best effort. I think the fine print probably doesn't include up-to-the-minute compatibility. Note that it says on the site:

Driver updates for some of our Audio hardware products may be provided beyond the Final Sale Date.

Final sale date was March 2015 (!).

On the other hand, everyone should register a ticket. It's just a matter of programmer hours for them.
