I'm loving the Purple MC77 from Plugin Alliance - high end clarity for days that doesn't sound like an ice pick to the ears. And the latency in native mode isn't such that this drummer can't work with it.

Oh yeah, whoops. I must've had a dumb "I can't read" moment.

Yeah that's a great processor. Has a nice modern aesthetic too, often that can be preferable over something more vintage sounding.

Although, that definitely has its place too.

My only gripe with MC77 is that the gui isn't resizable. It's way too large on a 1080x1920 monitor.

The latency is 2.36ms at 44.1kHz for JUST the PA Purple... 106 samples.
AVID themselves have provided the numbers.
https://duc.avid.com/showpost.php?p=...4&postcount=11

I should have been more clear, though, too high for VOCAL tracking. Fine for most instruments, bass and guitar DI, etc.

I use the softube aaxdsp fet all the time...still works. granted im still on mojave

Don't tease yourselves, a home-made replica hardware sounds way better than emulation plugin and has so called zero latency. I don't get it why peope paid 495 for the plugin back in tdm days
