I have constant hissing coming from my 001 Main outs. Doesn't matter if PT is running or not. Thought it was my mackie 1202 mixer, cause it's there even if I turn the Master all the way down. However, it's still there if I connect the 001 straight to the amp. The hiss sounds like an impedence mismatch, but there shouldn't be one.
Anyone else experience this? Thanks |

yes I just went thru as I had a defective 001 , and thought I had another oner when they sent it back
here are some of the trouble shooting tests I learned from digi tech support 1 . Is the noise in your digi headphone outs ? ( remember to switch the monitor button ) 2. Use a self powered speaker is the noise still there ? 3. connect the main outs to inputs 1-8 ( any 2 will do ) put signal generator on a stereo track and recorc it on another stereo track whose input is the same as the 2 you connected the monitor outs you must also change the out put of the recording channel as not to create a loop but you must pick something to record did this record any noise ? If yo got no noise from all of these tests then cables might be to blame I thought I had a second faulty 001 but it fialed this test so I am looking into my setup for a culpret GL |
