Default AIR dont offer upgrades

Since AIR added a 0.0.2 on their 2 range of plugins they dont offer upgrades from original versions. If you own Transfuser 1/strike 1 etc you have to pay the full price to upgrade.

Really? I would call that bad customer service. Contact them directly and maybe they'll make you a deal...

Hmm... I couldn't find a way to upgrade either.

Money has been tight with all the plugins that I needed to update since PT11 switched to AAX, and I was just getting ready to upgrade from Strike 1.5 to the full AIR pack using my promo code they sent me months ago....

I plugged in the promo code today, and it says its not valid.

Guess I'll skip the AIR update and move to something else.

I will email them though and see why they don't want the money from us stragglers who were spending our money updating other plugins first.

I used my promo recently and its from way back when they were first issued.
A single PTIEP instrument to full AEIP v2.02
it was $149

So i,m surprised that holders of version 1.5 cannot use their code.
It is a very chaotic system, so its worth shooting them an e-mail. They are responsive….eventually.
I say..they: sometimes it feels like there is just one person dealing with it all.

I agree, its not great customer service. But then again their plugins are much cheaper than others. I remember a while back (before the 0.0.2) to upgrade a plugin from 1 to 2 was $50 (now $150) and to upgrade to AIEP 1 to 2 was $150. Unless I was hallucinating.

I already emailed them about this. Now like you I may be looking elsewhere. For me its the principal of the matter. If customers are investing money in your product you owe it to them to give them the option to update without charging them full price. Everyone does this, why is AIR different?
So now BreakTweaker is suddenly an option that wouldn't have been otherwise.

$250 or 300 with expanded content. Its a bit more than transfuser. Gonna try it out next week. From what I can tell its strength is transitions and glitchy manipulation type stuff.

Thumbs up Re: AIR dont offer upgrades

I have to give big props to AIR.

After contacting them by email, they gave me a promo code so I could upgrade my Strike 1.5 to the full Expansion Pack.

This download process is not very user friendly, but other than that, thanks to AIR.

I've been waiting a long time to get these, can't wait to use them in a session.

Good news indeed. I was going to let my Strike asset wither away in RTAS land after I saw they no longer had the option to upgrade on their site.

But instead I now have the full AIR Expansion Pack, well, I will have it after it finishes downloading sometime tomorrow It's about 60GB to d/l

So again, big thanks to AIR. I simply provided the details from my previous purchases and they came through in a big way.

It's definitely worth the time to email them if you have the same problem I did.

Big thanks to AIR!

I read today that "LOOM" has a bug where it does not save customized settings properly. May need to look into that
Can anyone confirm this?

I cant check it for now.

I upgraded to 2.0. They gave me an 2.02 upgrade promo code and their website wanted to charge me $129 for what their email said was a $29 upgrade. After the AAX fiasco, you'd think they would fix their website and make upgrading easier. Hopefully, the email I sent will fix it. Otherwise Air, ...I'm out!
