Default ilok are NOT winning many friends

setting up a new venue profile. accidentally signed into the wrong ilok account 2 weeks ago no problem now that slight error is going cost me a $100

I am very sorry I am not perfect but ilok.com can go take a flying leap ....

You made the mistake, but somehow Pace/iLok is responsible?

Sure I made a mistake but 2 weeks you had a 7 day grace period now it's a $100.00 mistake is that fair ? And sorry I am not perfect like you are

A quick look through the history of your posts tells me that you have made this same mistake in 12 - TWELVE different posts in 4 or 5 different scenarios.

Yes, lots of problems with ilok.com
* Unable to transfer a Pro tools 10 license took 7 days only got results after emailing the president of Pace.
* Selling a HD Native system (buying a HD thunderbolt to use with a RMBP and our new Profile desk can't transfer the old HD9/HD10 license to the buyer.
* Now can't move an new ilok that was accidentally registered to the wrong ilok account - I could do it 2 weeks ago.
I manage 30 systems in studios on 3 continents and 5 Venue consoles.
I am just sharing a public shaming of a company that has made my job next in possible to manage because of Pace's F'UPS
FWIW 2 weeks everything on my end was great 11 years of ilok was great until June 10,2013.
They are moving away from a web app to desktop app when the world is moving the other way.
I hope Pace dies a slow painful death. The more companies that move like Waves & Plugin Alliance and away from Pace the better.
I am far too busy to be doing research on people's last posts.

and after this post this thread will self destruct in 4,3,2,1 ....

I am not perfect by any means, but I don't expect anyone to grant exceptions to policy because of *my* inattention or errors.

Have you had an opportunity to directly engage Pace and request an exemption?

from my side of things:

i just bought a new license and it took ages to:

first: to install and initialize the new client
second: enter the code and get the license on my account
third: transfer the license to my ilok2

with the old version this would have been a thing of 2 minutes including finding my ilok inside of the suitcase.

it almost took one hour with the new client. as well as it seems that the new client dont really like my pt10/11 license being registered to my old bulky ilok.

well, truth be told, as sad as it is, i found the ilok to be a perfect world, but they are taking heavy damage right now.

You mean an old blue ilok ? PT11 is no longer going to be supporting those. From here onwards everything will be ilok 2 only !

Yes I submitted a incident report to ilok.com.
I personally have exchanged over 40 emails in regards to ilok issues since June 10th. I have spent hours on ilok issues since then it has been a lot of wasted time and I am starting to get mad as from a user point of view it's not getting fixed it's getting worse.
Now to add insult to injury I did get an email from ilok to try it again - guess what? it did NOT work!
Now I am sending them yet another email! More wasted time.
One would think that they should be on top on this if they are charging a $100.00 fee - sorry complete and total failure.
What makes me mad is that for 11 years they had a grace period for mistakes like this and without ANY WARNING this has been pulled away.
I would expect some free Zero Downtime on all my ilok's because of this fiasco.
