DAE Loaded hangs

Hello,
Pro Tools 9.0.2 hangs on the DAE and can't recognize the MBox 3 card... yet Audacity can see it and plays thru the MBox fine. Is there a way I can bypass the Pro Tools boot and get into the settings to make Pro Tools see the soundcard?
