Unless it's changed, hell froze over, and corporations now have a heart, I recall that reinstating a perpetual plan costs over a grand.

You're mistaken. Have a look at the Sticky on top of this forum.

It has changed...but, well...it's very cold where I live, and I don't think corporations have suddenly grown a heart; quite the opposite.

But what has changed is that there are no more reinstatements. You can buy a "Perpetual Upgrade" code for the same, albeit higher for Ultimate, price of $199 (Studio)/$499 (Ultimate) and use it to get 1 year of upgrades and support, regardless of whether your support plan has lapsed or is currently active.

Noiseboyuk....

We have some updates coming but with NAMM and all that went into that with features and showing it off, it been a tad crazy the last few months. Cant give definatives but if Im coy.... I might say oooh Q2 and Q3 :)

Thanks as ever Marianna for stepping into the breach.

Is it likely to be a couple of main feature updates a year from here on? It's not necessarily a bad thing to have less updates if they are substantial, but some sense of what the ongoing plan is would be helpful.

One practical issue is that you used to be able to predict what 12 months of a support plan (or subs) would include, but it feels a lot more like guesswork now. Thanks!

How about a little maintenance update in the meantime called "2024.10.3" to just fix the playlist bug?

Yeah, that one's a productivity killer too.

I'm fine to wait until Q4 for new features but fixing old features shouldn't be lumped into those releases.
