No undo history for Mixer, only edit window

'Include Control Changes in Undo Queue' is checked.


Nothing I do in the Mixer window records any Undo data. Not good.


Is there some extremely obvious thing I've disabled by accident? Say yes!

Do you have automation data written to the tracks in question already? Perhaps a screen grab would help. Assuming you have volume automation nodes written to a track - adjusting those parameters would not add to the Undo History until you continue an automation pass. Just a thought.

Hi Jeff,

I opened a case, but the problem disappeared as curiously as it had arrived.

Tried deleting automation on each track individually, but still had ghost volume/mute automation writing to Aux tracks - whilst out making coffee! (I work alone... I hope!).

Tried the Nuke alternative with Clear Special/All Automation. Nope. Came back again.

As I was about to reach for the cricket bat, it stopped. (Coffee had gone cold though).

I installed 2024.10 directly over 2023.6 after running PT Prefs. Maybe it didn't like, it?
