Melodyne Hangs On Commit

Anyone experiencing an issue with committing Melodyne from ARA? Started after this last Protools update (2024.10.2). Runs through the tasks like it wants to finish, but just hangs at the very end. I have left it for several minutes to see if it will finish but I end up having to force quit protools. This happens on two separate systems at the studio. One is a Mac mini m2 the other Mac mini m4. The Mac mini m2 has Mac OS 14.7 and the m4 has the latest that was shipped with the computer, 15.2 I think.

Hi Adam,

Have you recently updated to 2024.10.2? Have you already tried clearing your Pro Tools prefs?

I have the same issue on my M4 laptop. I figured it's an issue with the M4 or the latest OS.

Not very workable.

Yeah but it also happens on my m2 mini. This started after the latest Protools update for me.

Getting installation error when Protools Studio starts. When I try to instantiate Melodyne on an audio track I get error AAE-7405.. Melodyne not loaded into ARA options either. Tried to get support fro Celemony who said it was Protools issue.

Any Ideas how to resolve this.

Even the plugin version of Melodyne has been uncharacteristically buggy overall on my M1 and latest PT version.

I find if I dont give Melodyne time to process/ digest stuff and move to a new task, it hangs, then PT crashes
