Can I use another audio interface other than the fast track w/ pro tools??
Does it have to be M audio?>

If you upgrade or purchase Pro tools 9 you can use any audio interface that supports Core Audio or ASIO.
http://imsproav.com/main/Get-Pro-Tools-9-Here.html Keep in mind that Pro tools 9 requires you own an iLok. Many successful, high quality recordings have been made using AVID hardware though, and AVID Hardware still makes the best, most supported choice for Pro Tools 9.
