We can't guarantee that it will work, and it won't be an officially supported configuration, but at least one of the folks here tried it on a Wallstreet powerbook with a cardbus USB adapter and said it worked fine.

Running an M Box on a G3 Wallstreet 300, with 320 megs of RAM, 20 gig HD, OS 9.2 with a Macally PCMCIA USB card. Everything seems to be fine. Planning on getting either a Powerlogix or Sonnet G3 500 upgrade card. When I get it, I will post any results here.
