Please do. I bought in May also. I think I registered on the 19th so I missed the cutoff by less than two weeks. I tried to find some place on the AVID sight to send an email that would get to the right people but I had no luck sorting through that maze.

This scheme hasn't officially been announced yet - just trailed by vendors. I think we need to wait and see what the official terms and conditions are first - it looks like the launch will be on the 6th Aug.

Yeah it’s not like it’s a product that’s been around for years. It has been less then a year since it was released. Adding $3000 worth of software after some months of initial release seems odd if not all purchases would be included in the offer.

Hi, I just today registered my new Carbon interface and the only thing it did was give me a choice of 1 year of protools or to extend my existing support plan.
There was not an additional Ultimate License or anything about Autotune.

Is this offer not valid yet? Or did I screw up somehow?

Supposed to come on line tomorrow Aug 6, but looks like you will a have a grace period . How that will play out is yet to be seen.

I got my Carbon in December but already had support/update on a current Ultimate Perpetual license so I took the 1 year extension ..

Only if Avid does not honor a grace period ....

So I am guessing/wondering if couple things are going on
#1 Perhaps the Carbons sales have slowed ?
#2 Perhaps as noted a good way to try and increase annual Ultimate update/support plans

I know I am waiting on purchasing Carbon until I see what they are going to do regarding additional monitoring capabilities. Once they implement at least 5.1 monitoring this looks like a good purchase for me.

There must not be anything automatic as far as any kind of grace period.

I apparently made the mistake of registering Carbon less than 24 hours too soon and did not get either Ultimate license or the Autotune license. I checked just now and nothing new was deposited in my account.

Is there someone really nice I could contact to see if there is anything that could be done? Or basically my screwup of registering 24 hours too soon means I am out of luck?

I do realize there are cutoffs for everything in life, but the mistake I made was thinking this was already live.
