Default Pro Tools 9.0.2 on Mac Os X Snow Leopard

Hi, I own pro tools 9.0.2 on a mac os x with snow leopard but for some reason when i run my program it doesn't get past the opening stage it always says pro tools quit unexpectedly & i tried & tried using the reopen bar but it still doesn't work i was wondering if there is anyone who can assist me with pro tools 9.0.2 on mac os x 10.6.8 snow leopard?

Remove all your plug-ins to the "unused plugin folder", restart and then load PT.

You could have an old plug-in. Did you check the top of this page for the compatibility grid?

i need a walk through. how to remove plugins, but i just installed pro tools 9.0.2 after having computer heaven due a wipe and reload, but how to remove plugins to unused plugins?
I checked grid for compatibility but i think i'm the only one with snow leopard so having ounces of trouble.
need assistance?
