Default When routing an aux buss to audio to record monitoring latency

Hi All

Im running 12.8.2 and having an issue when recording an aux to audio track. I have an external hardware insert on the track and have worked out my insert delay accordingly. However when i record the audio through monitoring is latency effected, the actual recorded audio isn't ?!

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Do you mean that you have the audio track out of sync during recording, but in sync after the fact during playback?

You can force ADC to stay on during recording by Ctrl+Cmd+clicking the track compensation indicator on that track. It will switch from 0 to a blue number.
