I have a Dell inspiron 8500 and I am using an Mbox and I have spent hours on the phone to both Dell and Digidesign and no one can solve my problem with constant error messages (9129 and 6086).
Even if I am playing with no tracks recorded, just a blank template, the program stops and gives me one of two of those messages telling me to adjust the buffer size. I can't get through five minutes without these messages constantly popping up. This has been going on for months now. If anyone has come across these issues before any advice is appreciated Aussie Adam |

The ole 9129 is an old enemy of mine. I too was using a laptop (Fujitsu Lifebook)and my diagnosis in the end was the IRQ setup. What other divices are using the USB IRQ? See if the BIOS will allow you to give each device it's own IRQ. Hope thats useful.

Try bumping your color depth down from 32 bit to 16 bit.
PTLE is a graphics hog believe it or not. That might help.
