Default Re: Plugins still resetting to their default parameters

As an additional info to my post before: ON the computer which the Scheps Settings got lost, the newest ProTools Version was installed. On the 2nd computer the Version was slighly older, from November or so.

So maybe it's also the version, meaning that on the newest ProTools Version that Problem came back.

I don't think it's fixed because I keep with this problem too. I'm using the latest version of PT and it is happening with the plugin Powair from Soundradix.
I set up the parameters the way I want and when I close and open the plugin again everything is set do default
Anyone got a solution for this?

If this was an issue across the board, there would be hundreds of posts about it. I remember it happening in one release that was soon fixed(old enough that I can't remember a number/version). In any case, Things seem fine here Things that might matter:
1-trashing prefs is always worth trying for any weird behavior.
2-if you can pin it down to certain plugins, maybe it/they need an update(especially if its all from the same company such as Waves, McDSP, etc).
3-if you can pin it down to certain sessions, maybe there is some sort of corruption(which can be tough to solve, but start by creating a blank session and importing tracks, a few at a time, to test).
4-when asking about problems, always include your exact OS and exact version of Pro Tools.
5-if you can, try the next newer, or next older version of Pro Tools.
6-if the problem started after an OS update, roll that back to test(and always have a backup plan for any and all updates)
