Cant find plugins

I recently did a reinstall of pro tools and basically all my aftermarket plugins are not found. i checked the unused folder and they are not their. all the .dpms are missing. They are found in logic and open up just fine. Im not sure why they are missing, because they worked fine before my reinstall of pro tools. i am using a Macbook pro on snow leopard. 10.6.8. Pro tools 8.05 (didn't see that forum)

Please help, i have a lot of plugins i rely on, and i HATE using logic for audio.

Hi,

If you used the uninstalled that comes with pro tools either in the digidesign folder in applications or in the installer package! Then this will not remove any third party plugins!!

Whether you use the safe or clean uninstall option it will leave the plugins folder with all optional plugins, and will only remove the pro tools included plugins.

sounds like you have deleted the plugins folder! You will need to re-install your optional plugins again.
