(i) Query Pace database - PTIEP and individual AIR VI users e-mail addresses extracted

(ii) Write to all users offering relevant upgrade options and advising that they may only do this once

(iii) AIR update their own database to ensure no iLok assets used more than once

Bingo! :)
I think that every iLok asset has a unique ID. They could use that and register a persons iLok assets to their AIR account. Assuming they implement something like that.

I know I'm going to be in a minority here but I would prefer a choice of iLok vs challenge and response authorization if that's what they are going to use.

Interesting - Apple list AIR as a manufacturer of AU format VIs on the new Logic Pro X page.

Maybe the release of AIR IEP will be timed to take advantage of Logic too i.e. it may now be time to release in AAX64, AU and possibly VST?

Yeah AIR IEP is supposed to have an AU release at some point, wonder if it will be AAX64 first then AU? Vaccum Pro has a 64-bit AU as well. How cool would it be to be able to fool around w/ Structure/etc in Logic?

I think it's amusing that Logic X pretty much comes bundled w/ more plug & VI content than Creative Collection and original PT IEP combined, though. Huge array of stuff for $199

Because of that, I've always been one of those fools who liked the compositional/scratch track workflows in Logic, and final tracking/mixing in PT. w/ PT 11 now 64-bit folks who do that probably will be fewer and far between...

Perhaps both at the same time? It would make sense if plugin vendors have been waiting that Logic X is out and then release AAX64&AU64 simultaneously.

Is that correct ?

I think those of us with pteip we should get free update of what we have to work in PT11

Some clarification please thanks !

Yes I want to know this too. I paid a lot of money for all of these plugins not very long ago. Do I get AAX versions free? Please clarify

Take a look at the AIR page and click in their FAQ on AAX. Everything is answered there.
