Again I apologize for the time this has taken, I understand the frustration this has caused, and I appreciate your patience. I will update this thread weekly as we work towards getting this new driver posted as soon as possible.

Regards,

Bob Langlie
This was posted in the sticky - A few weeks ago I seem to remember that another comment was also posted there. For some reason that disappeared. Hmmmm?

Well my 003 problem has NOT gone away - so AVID tell me where you are (as promised) - @&*%! how long does it take to fix this?

Longer every time they have to stop working to answer unneeded queries on how long it takes to fix something.

The only way that you would come remotely close to being correct is that the VP of customer confusion is also a programmer in the drive team.

Maybe that is true

But seriously you are missing the point, re-read their (Avid) bulletin - they said they would/are fixing it and would keep us abreast of the solution.

If you haven't spent a lot of money on a 003, that can not be fully utilised, then I suggest you keep quiet.

I bought the Crossgrade to PT 9 and I have these problems whith Low Latency Monitoring, but the most important thing is that in the SetUp menu in Protools when I go to I/O settings OUTOUTS the New Sub-Path button not appears not even grayed , just not exist at all, what that could be, there is no option to create New Sub Path. Instead in INPUTS Tab appears right, I write you because there is no section I can reach from here, I’ll be very thanksfull if you redirect this mail to people in charge please, could be a problem whith my copy of Protools 9. Hope find a solution. Thanks

What you think this is a general dumping ground ?
OK
Dear Avid, White butterflies keep eating my cabbage plants what can you do about it?

ANS: Smash them with your 003 for now - at least it gives it a purpose.

So this is your own personal thread is it?

Have you tried actually contacting Avid support rather than flaming anyone who comments on a thread in a public user forum where Avid has no obligation to help or respond?

It is very frustrationg, when you have loyal clients on hold and personal projects on hold.! So I don't blame him.! I feel the same way you do, hoping for at least the weekly updates at least.

I understand the frustration. That's not my point. There are others experiencing the same problems, and I honestly hope Avid resolves this issue sooner rather than later.

I am speaking towards this sense of entitlement. As said... he is not the only one with issues, and this is not a direct pathway to speak with Avid. There are already enough threads about this issue, including a sticky. Starting a new one doesn't get Avid's attention, it gets everyone else's.

This is a public forum. Anyone can come here and comment, even if they don't own Pro Tools. Avid is also under no obligation to post, respond or make any promises. It's in the terms of service.

If he doesn't like other people responding in this thread... he should contact Avid directly.
