Layla24 and Pro Tools? compatable?
 I own a Layla24 8 in 8 out interface, can it be used as the "3rd party interface" in Pro Tools9?

As long as there are ASIO (Windows) or CoreAudio (Mac OS X) drivers available, you should be fine.
Check the list being maintained at the AIR Users Blog to see if anyone else has tried it out.

Sadly there are no Snow Leopard (intel) drivers for the Layla24. Shame, great card. PCI though, not PCIe. You might have better luck on Windows though?

I also saw a sight that had a driver for win.7 for layla24... at the Echo site, who makes Layla they say nothing about the driver. I thought they would if it is legit...bad download drivers...fake?..does anybody know? The site is WWW.ZZsounds, legit stuff? Thank you for the 2 replies earlier.
