Unfortunately, i can not key the Compressor to the EQ bus, the key input pull down menu works fine, but "bus" is grayed out and unclickable.

Can someone PLS what am i missing? Thank you for your answers.
If I am understanding you correctly what you are talking about is D-essing
if there is not de-esser plugin in intro ?
Then you can do what I do which is use the single band eq and with a narrow band width, centered on the offending frequency and say a 5-7 db cut. Then just automate it to Master Bypass on all the rest of the vocal BUT engage on the just specific sss part of word. (it's a bit time consuming but if you are mixing for just you it can be effective)

Ohhh very nice, i will try it out. Yes, i dont like deessers, the sibilance is very harsh and if apply enough deessing to tame it its starts to sound unnatural. What im doing is separating the sibilant words to a different channel so the frequency reduction doesnt apply to the whole voice, but then there comes the adjustment of the faders because of the clicks and pops after cutting.... Awesome tip, thank you very much.
