Default Soundtoys error or Pro Tools?

When loading a project, I often get this error message:

"Soundtoys EchoboyTDM, Version 3.1.2
wmSlewedLimiter - timeout waiting for x-fade to finish"

Is it a Soundtoys error or Pro Tools?

What does it mean? (the session seems to load OK).

MacPro quad core 2.66MHz, 6 Gb RAM, OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.5
Pro Tools HD Accel 3, v8.1

Hi,

You need version 4 for Snow Leopard! they have also just updated all plugins to version 4.1

Also 10.6.5 isn't officially supported operating system, though should not effect your issue, but there have been some issues with 10.6.5 and some plugins.

In case you haven't noticed, with Vers 4.1 Pro Tools queries the Soundtoys website at start up. Probably the first step towards internet authorizations.

I'm also confused. I went to 4.1 on two machines yesterday - neither goes to the net upon PT launch.

Do you mean when you instantiate the plugin on PT? Or when you start Protools? I tried to download v 4.1 two times yesterday but it stops in the middle... I'll try it tomorrow again.

Well 4.1 doesn't seem to care whether or not you're connected to the net when you launch PT as my rig is offline and PT launches fine with 4.1 installed, so seems doubtful that it's trying to query the website.

Install Little Snitch and you'll see it.
