Default replacing drum sound with samples VENUE?

Occasionally we rent a VENUE SC48 mixing desk when doing bigger shows with my band. We are really pleased with the performance.

We would like to purchase a plugin for VENUE that allows us to replace drum samples (especially kick and snare). Would be great if we could maintain the drum sound consistent on stage but for the PA we would use different drum sounds for each song.

Has anyone found a solution for this? Im afraid the drum replacer plugins I know (drumagog, aptrigga) dont have TDM versions.

Why not put a trigger on the kick and snare and fire the samples from a sampler??? Roland TD-20 comes to mind. Alesis D-5 etc.... why over complicate your console?

because we don't like to over complicate our setups :) this would be easy to do with a plugin.

Not likely since all of the replacer plugs are RTAS and Venue uses TDM plugs. Quickest way is to do what Tig said. If you happen to use PT at all in your live setup, you can insert the plug-ins on the track in Pro Tools and then return the track output to an input channel in Venue, but it's still going to be alot of work to get the plug to trigger correctly.
