Hi all,
I have memory locations set up for mixing groups. Dialog tracks are all 1 location, Music another, etc. The problem I'm running into is the solo status of any tracks changes every time I swap between these memory locations. I want to be able to progressively add solos as I'm mixing each section and this is making it impossible. Any thoughts? I feel I'm missing something pretty basic here but googling isn't helping. Thanks! -Jeff |

Sounds like maybe solo status is automated at certain points, so memory location changes would reflect that?

You can't automate solo.

Have you tried trashing prefs? Testing starting with a new empty session? Do you have any other automation software running? If that is not it don't have any great idea about what is going on but... What Solo mode are you in Latch or X-OR? Do you have Group Enables active on the memory locations? Do the groups share solo? No I can't think of any way this causes this interaction but it's just an area of related things I'd be curious about. |

Thanks Darryl - all good suggestions. I was thinking it might have something to do with automation, as there is quite a bit running in this particular session. I will work through these today.
Was also reading about the solo functions of the routing folder tracks, as I have a few of those in play also, and they seem to have a mind of their own when it comes to solos. Appreciate the reply, Im working through it and will update the thread if/when I sort it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
