Default Some help with the app..

Hi..
So I've only recently discovered the wonders of the avid control app..

I'm trying to set up a few custom soft keys and was hoping it was possible to have one for a new stereo instrument track with kontakt say installed..

Can anyone help?..

Default Re: Some help with the app..

I don't think that can be done in Eucon. Its easy to make a Track Preset and I highly encourage using track presets for most everything. When I had my commercial room in Nashville, I almost always used Track Presets for all new track(even way back when it was only a semi-known hack instead of a documented feature). I had presets for at least a dozen VI Instrument tracks(Kontact, MiniGrand, DB-33, Lounge Lizard Wurli and several others).

BTW, a "Track Preset" can actually be a set of multiple tracks. Some of mine:
Drums-12 AUDIO tracks+3AUX tracks+VCA with all plugins and sends in place and dialed, including 6 stereo headphone mixes.
Bass-1 AUDIO track+1 AUX track with bass amp sim w/all plugins and sends
Acoustic Guitar-4 AUDIO tracks(2 mics per pass)+ AUX track with reverb.
etc

Think about what you need and be creative. Its a massive time saver
