003 Discontinued?

I've just trawled the Avid site and couldn't find any product info about the 003 family of interfaces. Does this indicate the 003 line has been discontinued?

As far as I understand, 003 is a supported interface for PT10 although I don't think there are any new drivers available.

If anyone could clarify, that'd be great.

The 003 series was discontinued back around February or March.

PT10 will be the last version to support it, along with a bunch of other products, including the Command 8. At some point I'm sure we'll see replacements for some of these, as it wouldn't make sense for Avid to not have some product offering in the $1000 to $2000 range.

Ah.

I'm using the 003 (control surface) and it's getting jealous cause I've been checking out the Artist Control. Would be very nice if Avid integrated an interface into that. Oooh yeah baby!

Its not mentioned in the FAQ, but I suppose the 002 will not be supported after PT10, considering that the 003 wont be supported. Time to look ahead and start saving up for the future, Im glad AVID took this route, a year should be enough to get ready for eventual release of PT11 and upgrading my interface / control surface.

Or... How about offering the HDNative card to those with plain PT10 and create a budget interface with enough analog inputs for a rhythm section (12-16) at a lower price point, something that would compete with the RME-UFX. I feel there are many here that have a budget ceiling of around $2K-$3K that would jump on something like this from Avid.
