Re: What is the best way to rip MP3s?
I think he said "best" way
OP do you mean the cheapest and quickest way or do you actually want the "best" quality?

Re: What is the best way to rip MP3s?
Atzlan,
I've tried loadsa different ways and this little gem does it the best: http://sbooth.org/Max/ It does all sorts of excellent file converting jobs as well (including to and from SDII format for instance). It's a little funky to first get your head around, but once you have it set up, it's the best sounding MP3 convertor I've tried. You can set the MP3 conversion quality to "Best" and a typical 3.5 min song clocks, in at about 5-8 meg. Just perfect to attach to a Hotmail email (ie: 10 meg limit). Hope this helps Steve Bush |

I use Audiofinder, also useful for sample editing and a ton of other things.
