Buffer-size change causes PT10.1.1 to Crash

Everything works perfectly except buffer changing in any session causes instant CRASH!
When no session is open & i change the buffer it works fine

The workaround for now is:
- close session
- change buffer
- reopen session

Any ideas what the problem could be Avid?

My rig:
MacPro 2x2.66GHz 6-Core, 24GB RAM
OSX 10.6.8
PT HD v10.1.1.33
with 003 Board

i should add that now changing the buffer size makes PT 10.1.2 crash/quit unexpectedly.

Really great. There's always something. I can't work for more than 5 minutes at a time with this.
