Where is my pt 8 bakup license

I had back ups of 7.3 & 7.4 in my ilok account but don't have a bakup of 8. Anyone else in the same boat?

You should have it on your ilok account unless you have downloaded it to another ilok

I think I'm in the same boat.

On my "pending licenses" page of my online iLok account, I can see another "Pro Tools 7.3/7.4 Bundle". Is this the "back up" license. It does not say "back up" as I remember seeing in the past.

There is no extra or spare PT 8 license showing, and I am certain I have never downloaded it as I only own one iLok.

I suggest you log on to iLok.com, go into your profile, and look at History. There you will see a listing of all the license downloads, transfers, etc. . . You should be able to see what happened. . . hopefully. . . It will likely be something Digi has to deal with, and I have had luck using Digidesign's online support with license problems in the past, but I can take awhile, so gather your info and get the inquiry started, because you never know when you may need your backup license. I hope this helps.

I've just noticed I'm in the same situation. I checked the ilok history and only one Pro Tools 8.0 license was supplied to my account.

We didn't get one either - we've got two 7.3/7.4s, for some reason yet another 7.3 but only one 8.

I believe you will only see the back-up license when you start the download procedure.
It will appear on the list of available downloads once you have synchronized an iLok.

We have sychronised the ilok and downloaded the license, we've been using 8 since the week it came out. But no backup in our pending list or on our ilok.

If you have one it will show in your pending licenses page.

i have a backup license and it showed in ilok.com as "pt8 back-up never" which i downloaded into my spare ilok when i had a problem with my G5, otherwise i would leave it on ilok.com

if you try to download the back-up license it will wipe over the main auth! so thats what might have happened with some users who can't find there's so they will need to view their ilok history and see if they had one and where it went if they did have one.

Checked our history, it shows delivery of 2 licenses, but only the download of one, and yet the other one is AWOL. See below:
