Default PCI to PCIe card swap HD process???
are we that still own the HD process cards going to be left in the dust when the new PCIe pro tools cards are available for cross grading ...

in other words, DIGI, are you going to make HD process cards for PCIe, Yes or No .......

this will be a huge part of some peoples upgrade, as they will not only be going from PCI to PCIe, but they will also be going from HD process cards to ACCEL cards ...

can you shed some light on this ... i would like to know if i should plan my next vacation for either next year or 2010 ...

I would say no of course not, only HD Core and Accel Cards

In my opinion it'll be Accel Core (core with accel chips) and Accel only. If their latest plugs are for Accel cards only then we wont be seeing any new Process cards. But thats just my opinion.

My Nubus to PCI upgrade was about 6K AUD from memory. Perhaps there will be a simliar exchange program for PCI - PCIe.

No, Digi has already confirmed, will be a straight port to PCIe from the excisting Core and Accel Cards. Also the HD Process card was discontinued 2 years ago, why would they bring it back ?

The HD process never really left.
Digi just doesn't sell them as anything but a core.
HD Process = HD Core with different ROM.
Mix Farm = Mix Core with different ROM.

Has anyone besides me took a good look at these cards?
