New mega mixfarm coming

Heard a rumor from a insider today saying
digidesign will be releasing a mixfarm
with 12 dsp chips...can anyone confirm this?

That's the second time around for this rumor. I'm not holding my breath, but it would be nice if it were true.

Actually it seems the Mix Power Bundle offer is not a coincidence... well, Digi, wouldn't be fair to confirm or deny this rumour ? I think it's good for you too, because many of us will wait before buying the Mix Bundle. If a new Farm is on the way you should announce now release date, features and upgrade policy or officially declare that for at least 1 year nothing will come up.

Your web browser undoubtedly has a Digidesign cookie identifying you as a Pro Control user. Info on the mix bundle is only available to those who enjoy tweaking their plug-ins using mice or trackballs.

they have to develop the next version of software to be incompatable with the old mix farms before they can release the fairly high-priced mega mixfarm! (so it may be a little while)
