Hi, I've had a quick scan of the archives but couldn't find an answer to this one.

I've just purchased a licence for the mp3 option and put it on my ilok. I've connected my ilok to my pc running protools le8 and the message saying i don't have this option available. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking it might be because avid say you need to have a version of pro tools later than PT7. is PT LE8 not later than PT 7?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

There's software to load in order to use the mp3 option w/ an iLok asset in versions before 9.
I'm not sure if it's readily available on Avid's site or not.
Seems it should be.

Thanks, I found something for PT8 but not 8LE.
