This sounds like a problem that might have been covered before so I do apologise...
But my preferences are resetting every time I reboot my mac. Also, the first time I boot up Pro Tools it refuses to recognise the HD TDM engine, so I have to quit and relaunch again.. Then when I select HD TDM I have to quit and relaunch a second time to activate it.. Very time consuming! I've tried trashing preferences.. Which is ironic! OS X 10.6.8 PT HD 9.0.3 8 core 2010 Mac Pro HD 3 If anyone has a quick solution to this before I take time out of a session to clean install I'd much appreciate it. :) Thanks! |

Do you have a file named DigiSetupOSX.corrupt in ~/Library/Preferences ?

Also, do you possibly have FileVault enabled?
