Import Mp4

I just to imported a 6 minute long video mp4. When i play it, the video stops after 5 min. It works fine with a mov format. Someone out there ? :)

Hi,

It has something to do with your Video's format/extension. Was this video downloaded from a streaming platform? Or was it from a camera or a device?
Try converting it to a different supported video format before importing.

Not sure why it would stop after 5 min, but every time I have any weird video issue in Pro Tools, I use Shutter Encoder (a free and excellent app) to convert the video file to DNxHD. Works every time.

The file is recorded from Yamaha Genos midi file to Accsoon Cineeye 2, Accsoon go (app) to an Ipad Pro. Loaded up from icloud to pro tools. I have recorded two files like this, both stops at 7 min 32 sec. It works fine with mov. format, but not in MP4.
