Man to woman or vice versa

Prior to my PT ownership days I once used a Roland 1680 hard disk recorder and had a load of fun using an onboard plug that changed a male voice to female (in realtime). Is there a plug (preferably TDM) that does this for Pro Tools (I've tried the Waves one but the latency is so poor it's not really workable). Any suggestions?

Well, you can do some pretty hilarious things in Melodyne to shift formants up and down...
We just bought the semi-pro version for about $800 CDN... Pretty neat piece of software really!

Telson is the best

trouble is they are hard to come by and everyone wants one

you have to look hard to find

i would not give mine or ......even lend it out

it has become a key piece in mixing and in dialing in a bloody miriad of vocal textures including man to woman and woman to man.

not to mention the kiddie voices and bastardized animal character morphs that can be designed.

this thing is a gold mine and almost a best kept little secret among the cartoon world. (Disney)

The Telson rack unit (not sure they have a plug in but i doubt it) is the best i've round for this and most other morphing applications

commonly used, believe it or not is asia with the karaoke scene
there are picitures on the net available
i 've heard them mention also at gearslutz site

these babies are hard to find but you can find them
and worth the effort to procure as nothing else out there even comes close

i would not trade mine for the world.

for example, like it can make pig and human voice very believable as a pig talking

extremely versatile detailing parameters
and after you spend some time with it...just like pro tools it gets easier
