Default Spacebar doesn't work as start/stop with plugin open
when I have a digidesign plugin open in my edit window spacebar doesn't work as start/stop anymore and as soon as I close the dig plugin it works again.. is this a bug?

I have been having this issue as well - intermittently and with more than just Avid plug-ins. running PTHD 10.3.7 on OS 10.8.5

Try trashing PT prefs.

It usually happens with some 3rd party plug-ins. They steal focus when active and eat your space bar keypress.

deleting protools prefs didn't help…

Sometimes it helps to just hit escape.

Escape = user input focus back to Pro Tools (I would think).

When this happens here(as it ALWAYS does with SD2), if I click on the edit window(anywhere) the keyboard reverts to PT commands.
