Midi patch names
Searching around the forums I've discovered that pro tools cannot import patch names. However, poking around in the ptle 6 docs it looks like you can in version 6. Is this true?
Also, even if you are unable to, can you at least select banks and patches? My version of ptle (5.3.1) has no way of selecting banks. Thanks, Brian |

Re: Midi patch names
There is a way to select banks, but it is certainly not the most easy way.
If you read the doc's that came with your module/keyboard/softsynth you will see that they use a certain controller number. Usually controller 0 and controller 32. You have to look up thise numbers and type them in the little white windows on top of the patch-window you get when clicking on the "P" on a miditrack in the mix-window.

Re: Midi patch names
Awesome, it works like a champ now. Unfortunately I have to look up the numbers every time. Can anyone confirm/deny if we can assign names to controller 0, controller 32, and a patch number? (those three numbers make up the combination for one specific patch on my keyboard)
Thanks! Brian |
