Default Powerlogix 1 ghz g4 upgrade!!?? anyone??

Has anyone heard of or tried the new upgrade? I suppose that if someone had, they would have posted, but I am getting very anxious to find out. I want a 1 ghz G4! My 400 mhz AGP is ready to be upgraded!

I don't think they are even shipping yet. I'm curious to find out myself.

I am going to upgrrade my 400 Agp. But is a 1ghz processor going to be the same speed as a Dual 500Mhz. All of this under OSX, becuase that upgrade is coming soon..............

The reason I ask is that a Dual 500 is a cheaper upgrade. Anyone know this kind of stuff?

Here's some info from the PowerLogix site.

Looks like you just need to wade through to their distrubuters list.

As far as the "1GHz vs. 2x500Mhz" question, PT's wise, this is still irrelevant. However, X might be a different story. I think the single vs dual issue might be entirely dependent on what you're doing. Especially is you are running X-compatible applications.

Price wise, I'd say that the dual 500 would be more attainable from my POV.

If I want a 1GHz G4, I think that it'd be in my best interest to just get a new one.
