Preferred PCI slot for 001 card?

Hi,

Is there a preferred PCI slot that the card for the 001 likes to go it? I am going to put mine in #2 as the first one has the video card.

I am also installing a Adaptec 2906 SCSI card as well. Any recommendations as to what slot that might be best utilized?

Any difference either way?

You want to put the 001 card in the slot below the monitor/video card. Skip a slot and put the Adaptec 2906 card in the last slot. That is what Digidesign recommends. Hope that helps.

What computer are you running? I'd like to know what kind of track counts and general performance you're getting with that scsi card and also are you using an IDE or a SCSI drive to record onto?

Yup! Redmann's got it right. Put your 001 card in the slot below the video card(which should be in slot 1) 001 card in slot 2 and the SCSI card in slot 4.
