Default My display lags!

when i playback, the counter, timer, and meters are lagging and do not correspond to the audio. how do i fix this?

Sometimes having pro tools doing other tasks like relinking audio files and generating overviews can cause the GUI to lag. Either wait a bit for them to complete, or go into the task manager (in protools) and drag the processes from the top box, to the bottom.

ohh my bad. i havent had any problems before but now i have a whole bunch so im kinda new to this. hmm i have windows vista ultimate sp1 32 bit, intel pentium dual cpu @2.0 ghz, 4 gb ram, and a 111 gb hard drive but only have like 40 gb left. hope this is what youre looking for.
